STEERING AND SUSPENSION SYSTEMS
A car that tracks straight is a car that keeps its tires
Worn suspension does not just ride badly. It scrubs tires, lengthens stopping distances and makes the car wander in a crosswind — and Phoenix roads, expansion joints and heat wear bushings faster than most places do.
We inspect the whole system on a lift, measure what is worn, and show you the play rather than describing it to you at the counter.
-
Shown, not just told
The car goes on a lift and we show you the movement. -
Tire wear read as evidence
Wear patterns point straight at the cause. -
Shocks, struts, bushings, joints
The whole system, not only the part that is loudest. -
Alignment checked after repairs
So the new parts stay where they should.

QUESTIONS WE GET EVERY WEEK
Steering and suspension FAQ
How do I know if I need shocks or struts?
Bouncing after bumps, nose dive under braking and cupped tire wear are the usual signs. We test them on the lift and show you what we find.
Will an alignment fix uneven tire wear?
It stops it getting worse, but only after any worn part causing it has been replaced. Aligning worn joints does not hold for long.
How often should I get an alignment?
After suspension work, after a hard pothole, or whenever the tires start wearing unevenly.
Do struts have to be replaced in pairs?
Usually yes, per axle. Otherwise the car handles differently side to side.
Why does my car feel worse in summer?
Heat softens rubber bushings and thins fluids, so worn parts feel worse when it is hot.
Is the work warrantied?
Yes — 24 months or 24,000 miles on parts and labor, whichever comes first.
