Squealing or screeching
A built-in wear indicator is touching the rotor. It means your pads are near the end of their life.

Grinding or growling
Metal on metal. The pad material is gone and the rotor is being damaged — stop driving and call us.

Soft or spongy pedal
Usually air or moisture in the brake lines, or a failing master cylinder. This is a safety issue.

Pulling to one side
A stuck caliper or uneven pad wear. It gets worse — and it eats tires while it does.

Vibration when braking
Warped or unevenly worn rotors. Often fixable by resurfacing if caught early.

Low fluid, worn pads, or an ABS fault. We’ll pull the codes and tell you which one it is.

How much does a brake job cost in Phoenix?
Most front or rear brake pad replacements land between $180 and $400 per axle, depending on your vehicle and whether the rotors can be resurfaced or need replacing. We run a RepairPal fair-price estimate for your exact year, make and model and show it to you before you approve anything.
How long does brake service take?
A standard pad and rotor replacement takes about 1.5 to 3 hours. If you drop off in the morning, the car is usually ready the same day. Ask about a complimentary Uber or Lyft ride within 5 miles of the shop.
How often should brakes be replaced?
Most brake pads last 30,000–70,000 miles, but Phoenix stop-and-go traffic and heat shorten that. We measure pad thickness at every visit and tell you how many miles you likely have left.
Do I need to replace the rotors too?
Not always. If your rotors are above minimum thickness and not warped, we can often resurface them. We measure them in front of you and only recommend replacement when the numbers say so.
Is there a warranty on brake work?
Yes — 24 months or 24,000 miles on parts and labor, whichever comes first.
Can I just get an inspection first?
Absolutely. Brake inspections are free and come with no obligation. If your brakes are fine, we’ll tell you and send you on your way.
